Avista Video Histories, a full-service video production company in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was founded in 1996 to capture the unique elements of business, community and family histories.

Lisa Witt, Avista’s owner, oversees a team of professionals with extensive experience and training in the technical and artistic aspects of video. Her team has received 15 Telly Awards since 1998.

Steve Delasantos, Creative Director
Steve is an accomplished producer/director who has produced numerous award-winning documentaries, corporate, educational and special event productions. Steve’s experience includes being a News Photographer/Editor for KOB-TV and Chief Photographer at MBC news in Moab, Utah. Since achieving his degree in video production (Deans List) from The Art Institute of Colorado (where he received the Portfolio Par Excellence Award for "Above & Beyond the Call," a 7-minute documentary based P.S.A on the Littleton Fire Department’s significant role in the community), Steve has excelled in all aspects of video productions. As Avista’s Creative Director, Steve is responsible for managing Avista’s documentary and corporate video projects from concept to completion, including overseeing Avista’s production team.

Lyndon Phelps, Director/Camera/Editor
Lyndon helped Founder Lisa Witt to start Avista Video Histories in 1996. His passion and creativity for video production and his experience has made him a highly effective camera operator and editor. Having been involved in over 400 Avista projects, Lyndon has contributed significantly to the numerous Telly’s earned on behalf of Avista’s documentary, non-profit, corporate, museum and individual clients, including the "Moving of the 2926," a Silver Telly Award winner. Lyndon also works independently on his own film/video productions.

J. Anthony Cangialosi, Camera/Editor
Joining the Avista team in 2004, Jay-T has brought a new dynamism to Avista’s editing team. His first major project received rave reviews from the New Mexico Symphony Guild for its fresh, outside-the box approach to a conventional product. He completed a sophisticated documentary for Kirtland Air Force Base: Landmark of the Cold War: Trestle on the effects of electro-magnetic pulse on aircraft during nuclear testing. Jay-T is particularly adept at DVD authoring, earning praise from clients for his design abilities. Jay-T’s talents include directing many of Avista Video’s human resource and marketing DVDs. Prior to graduating from the University of New Mexico’s Media Arts Department, Jay-T did extensive field work for the New Mexico Athletic Association.

John Ortiz, Videographer
John joined the Avista Team in 1998 to help Avista jumpstart the Rio Rancho Cable 51 PEG (public, education and government) television station. A talented videographer, John produces top quality productions for Avista's corporate seminar clients. John is particularly skilled in event videography, earning rave reviews from Avista's Wedding clients. He has mastered the technique of "in-camera" editing to provide outstanding wedding videos for brides on a budget. John also tapes a variety of Avista's childrens' performances (plays, dances, cheerleading) and event documentation (the Senorita Ball). As a skilled editor, John edited many of the Albuquerque Public School's training videos for Avista. Prior to joining Avista, John was the APS' videographer and currently manages the Channel 51 station for the City of Rio Rancho.
