BUSINESS VIDEOS

How can video help my company?

How long does it take to put a video/DVD together?

It depends…

You need to be aware that there are three basic steps to completing your video:

  1. Scripting;
  2. Production/videotaping; and --
  3. Post-production/editing.

In general, the process takes about six weeks. In some instances - schedule permitting - we have produced videos in a week or less to meet tight deadlines. Much depends on you and your timetable.

The most important part of any video is the script — your message. First, using Avista’s marketing or training video template, we will schedule a meeting of 30 minutes to two hours to gain a thorough understanding of your company’s unique selling proposition, your target audience, and the benefits and features of your products or services. We have also found that testimonials are powerful tools to communicate your message.

In the planning stage, we will decide together how your story will be told. The “storytelling” can be done either with an independent narrator or with key individuals in your firm. We will also decide whether or not anyone from your organization will be featured in the video.

Once we get this basic information, Avista will give you a script to review within one week. Once you have approved the script, Avista will schedule the taping of live images, still images, testimonials and voice-over narration. Finally, once all the materials are taped, we will start editing your video.

We guarantee your complete satisfaction!

FAMILY VIDEO HISTORIES

What is a video history?

A video history is a collection of stories that a parent or grandparent tells to the younger generation. It is much like a story in a book — except that the stories are told on video. (This format permits you to see the sparkle in grandma’s eyes when she tells of meeting grandpa for the first time.) Popular topics include courtship and marriage, World War II and the Depression, childhood and family history, and lessons to grandchildren.

Avista edits the interview and photos/images together to create a “living portrait and history” for the family to enjoy. A video history is designed to capture the highlights of the storyteller’s family history, precious photographs and mementos, and most important of all, the personality and wisdom of your senior family member.

What options are available?

Avista has options to meet all budgets. Video histories can run anywhere between 15 minutes to two hours in length. Our final edited products usually run 30 to 60 minutes. The packages vary based on the length of the interview and the number of photos/images that are woven into the final video.

How do I get started?

To get started, please call us at 828-2100 or use our Contact Us form to request an appointment. When we meet with you, we will discuss your goals for doing a video history. EVENT VIDEOS

What can you tell me about your wedding packages?

Avista takes great pride in our ability to preserve your special day on videotape. We take the time to understand the planned events of the day, and can tailor a package to meet your specific needs. We also take great care in creating a special opening to set the stage for your wedding. This opening can include your wedding invitation, photos of the bride and groom, and shots outside the church or hotel. When we actually “shoot” the event, we use wireless microphones and digital cameras to obtain the highest quality sound and visual images. All of this, combined with the work of our creative staff, makes for a memorable video (and we can now put this treasured event on DVD!).

How does Avista videotape Bar/Bat Mitzvahs?

Avista has both basic and more elaborate packages to preserve your son or daughter’s important day. This ranges from a “no frills” taping of the ceremony to a more detailed chronicling of the events of the day. We use wireless microphones and digital cameras to obtain the highest quality sound and visual images. We are very discreet, especially during the service.

What is so special about the way that Avista captures plays and dance recitals?

Directors and dance instructors have told us repeatedly that our work far exceeds that of other video companies that they have used. Try us and you’ll notice the difference! You’ll never use another company!
