COMMUNITY V
IDEOS

Avista Video Histories takes great pride in helping community organizations honor individuals who have made significant contributions in their field. A Video Tribute can consist of an interview with the honoree discussing their achievements. Alternatively, the tribute can consist of third person tributes by colleagues of the honoree. Another option is to conduct an on-camera interview between a host and the honoree. All Tributes are illustrated by old photos and mementos. Over the years, Avista has had the honor of producing videos that are shown at such Tribute Events as: The New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame, The New Mexico Trial Lawyers Amicus Awards, the Silver Horizons Senior Hall of Fame, the UNM School of Law Distinguished Alumni Event, Martin Luther King Cultural Center Event, among others. Please view some samples of these tributes below.

PLEASE NOTE: For your convenience, many of these videos have been uploaded to YouTube - following those links will take you to the YouTube pages containing the selected videos.

Slates/Slides to Facilitate an Event

Avista Video works with non-profits to create slides/slates that are displayed as each Honoree is given their award. Simple, yet elegant, the slides add a sophisticated dimension to your Tribute event. In this tribute created for Called Back to the Well in 2009 the keynote honoree has multiple photos to display as her credentials are announced. Prior year honoree photos can also be combined to display as guests mingle before being seated at the event. Avista can also combine all three videos (promotional, past year honoree highlights and Honoree Slides) to produce a DVD Menu to easily toggle between these three types of videos. For more information on producing such a video, please contact us.
