• National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)/Northern New Mexico Chapter’s “Kudos” Award for Up and Coming Business Owner, 1999.
• The Jewish Pioneers of New Mexico Project received a State of New Mexico Heritage Preservation Award. Lisa Witt was the Project Director for this New Mexico Jewish Historical Society (NMJHS) endeavor which involved recording the stories of Jewish Pioneer descendants, transcription of interviews, creation of 13 booklets on 17 Pioneer families, and a potential future documentary.
